Rescue 1122 EMT Internship Opportunities – Punjab (2026)

The Emergency Services Department, Government of the Punjab (Rescue 1122), has announced internship opportunities for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) interns across multiple districts of Punjab. Applications are invited from eligible and motivated candidates who wish to serve in emergency medical services and gain professional training.

Position Offered:

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Intern

Eligibility Criteria:

- Minimum 2nd Division in Nursing, Paramedical, or Allied Health Diploma/Degree from a recognized board, council, or university
- Domicile: Punjab
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years

Internship positions are available in various districts, including Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Chiniot, D.G. Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khanewal, Khushab, Lahore, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Multan, Murree, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Okara, Pakpattan, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh, Taunsa, and Vehari.

Selection Procedure:

- Online application through Central Testing Service (CTS)
- Written Test
- Psychological Test
- Physical Test
- Final Interview at Emergency Services Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore
- Basic Rescue Training at Emergency Services Academy, Lahore

Terms and Conditions:

- Candidates with vision less than 6/6 (without glasses), color blindness, a BMI of 30 or above, Hepatitis B & C, HIV, or RPR positive will be disqualified.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a height above 5 feet 6 inches and a minimum chest size of 33 inches.
- Local residents as per CNIC will be preferred.
- Internship offer is subject to document verification, police verification, medical clearance, and successful completion of training.

Stipend:

A monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000/- will be paid.
